Kaitlyn Bristowe doesn't mind crossing vines with ex-fiancé Jason Tartick.
In fact, the Bachelor Nation star gave him a wave when their paths collided on the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards red carpet. (Click here to see all the celebrity arrivals.)
"This isn't the first time we've been in the same room, so it's really not weird," Kaitlyn exclusively told E! News host Keltie Knight at the event, hosted by Shania Twain at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House Sept. 26. "Maybe six months ago, my heart would have been in my butt—but we're chilling."
The 39-year-old continued, "At this point in my life, I just want everybody to happy. I'm in a good place." (For more interviews from the 2024 PCCAs, tune into E! News tonight, Sept. 26, at 11 p.m.)
Jason even has an open invitation to visit their golden retrievers Ramen and Pinot, who are now living with Kaitlyn full-time after the former couple realized they were creating a tense environment for the dogs by having them passed between homes.
“I would never keep them from somebody," Kaitlyn recently shared on her Off the Vine podcast. "I just want to make it clear that he is more than welcome to see them if he is in town for the weekend, or wants to take them for a walk."
And for what it's worth, both she and Jason—who were together for four years before their 2023 breakup—have moved on romatically.
Jason is now dating TikToker Kat Stickler, while Kaitlyn told E! News that she's "privately mingling."
So, what does that entail? Double dates with Kristin Cavallari and her boyfriend Mark Estes, who introduced Kaitlyn to fellow Montana Boyz member Kaleb Campbell Winterburn.
"Kaleb, I went out with him, and Mark and Kristin," Kaitlyn shared. "We had a very fun night on Broadway. I lost my wallet."
Though the podcast host admittedly finds Kaleb to be "so cute," she does think the 24-year-old—who was also at the 2024 PCCAs with his fellow Montana Boyz—is "too young" for her.
Still, Kaitlyn is thrilled for Kristin, 37, and Mark, 24, who have both shrugged off criticism over the age gap in their romance.
As the Bachelorette alum put it, "I look at Kristin and I'm like, 'You go, girl!'"
