Anneliese van der Pol and Johnno Wilson have the House of Mouse to thank for their love story.
The actors, who co-starred as ex-spouses on the Disney Channel sitcom “Raven’s Home,” revealed their engagement in a joint Instagram post Wednesday.
The couple shared a series of photos from the holiday engagement, which showed Wilson kneeling in front of a Christmas tree and a shocked Van der Pol as he held a ring box in his hand. In another photo, Van der Pol showed off the sparkly, square-cut ring as she clutched a drink.
"Thank you (Disney) for introducing me to my TV ex-spouse and real life fiancé," the couple captioned the post.
Van der Pol and Wilson co-starred as exes Chelsea and Garrett Grayson, respectively, on “Raven’s Home,” a spinoff of the 2000s Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven” that starred Van der Pol alongside Raven-Symoné, Orlando Brown and Kyle Massey.
A few of Van der Pol’s Disney Channel peers shared their support and excitement for the newly engaged couple in the comments section of the actors’ engagement post.
“Congratulations!!!!” “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Jennifer Stone wrote.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,” commented “Even Stevens” actress and Van der Pol’s “Big Name Bitches” co-host Christy Carlson Romano.
“Congratulations!” “Wizards of Waverly Place” actor David DeLuise wrote.
